Hinduism - 4000 to 2500 BCE*
The origins of Hinduism can be traced to the Indus Valley civilization sometime between 4000 and 2500 BCE. Though believed by many to be a polytheistic religion, the basis of Hinduism is the belief in the unity of everything. This totality is called Brahman. The purpose of life is to realize that we are part of God and by doing so we can leave this plane of existance and rejoin with God. This enlightenment can only be achieved by going through cycles of birth, life and death known as samsara. One's progress towards enlightenment is measured by his karma. This is the accumulation of all one's good and bad deeds and this determines the person's next reincarnation. Selfless acts and thoughts as well as devotion to God help one to be reborn at a higher level. Bad acts and thoughts will cause one to be born at a lower level, as a person or even an animal.

حمى البروسيلا - الحمى المتموجة - مرض بانج
سميت بالحمى المالطية لأنها اكتشفت لأول مرة فى مالطة وسميت حمى البروسيلا لأن مسببها ميكروب البروسيلا الذى اكتشفه بروس سنة 1887 وسميت الحمى المتموجة لأنها تتميز بموجات من ارتفاع درجة الحرارة يتخللها موجات يكون المريض أثناءها فى حدود الطبيعى، وتكثر الحمى المالطية فى منطقة حوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط وبينها مصر كما أنها تنتشر فى المملكة العربية السعودية وتحدث الحمى المالطية طوال العام.
- والبروسيلا ميكروبات عضوية ويوجد منها ثلاثة أنواع: - بروسيلا ميلينتسس : وهى موجودة فى الماشية وهذا النوع موجود فى مصر.
- بروسيلا الإجهاض : وهى موجودة فى البقر .
- بروسيلاسيوس : وهى موجودة فى الخنازير .
وغالبا تحدث العدوى بالمرض نتيجة شرب اللبن أو منتجاته الملوثة بميكروب البروسيلا، كذلك فى الأشخاص الذين يتعاملون مع الماشية المريضة مثل الأطباء البيطريين والجزارين.
وتتراوح مدة حضانة المرض من 5 - 20 يوما - وأهم أعراض المرض : - حدوث نوبات متعددة من ارتفاع درجة الحرارة يتخللها مراحل يكون فيها المريض فى حدود الطبيعى.

The idea of a personal flying vehicle was bouncing around for long time, until the Military took it in their capable hands, coming up with a significant number of prototypes:

De Lackner DH-4 "Aerocycle" flying platform was the first of several one-man flying machines the Army evaluated during the late 1950s and early 1960s. It had a top speed of 120 km/h and was surprisingly stable despite its rather ungainly appearance. Four small air bags served as a landing gear, though this system was ultimately abandoned in favor of helicopter-type metal skids:

هو أشهر شعراء العصر الأخير. يلقب ب أمير الشعراء. مولده ووفاته بالقاهرة. نشأ في ظل بيت الملك بمصر، وتعلم في بعض المدارس الحكومية، وقضى سنتين في قسم الترجمة بمدرسة الحقوق، وأرسله الخديوي توفيق سنة 1887 م إلى فرنسا، فتابع دراسة الحقوق في مونبليه، واطلع على الأدب الفرنسي، وعاد سنة 1891 فعين رئيساً للقلم الإفرنجي في ديوان الخديوي عباس حلمي. وندب سنة 1896 لتمثيل الحكومة المصرية في مؤتمر المستشرقين بجنيف. ولما نشبت الحرب العالمية الأولى، ونحي عباس حلمي عن «خديوية» مصر، أوعز إليه باختيار مقام غير مصر، فسافر إلى إسبانيا سنة 1915 وعاد بعد الحرب (في أواخر سنة 1919) فجعل من أعضاء مجلس الشيوخ إلى أن توفي. عالج أكثر فنون الشعر: مديحاً، وغزلاً، ورثاء، ووصفاً؛ ثم ارتفع محلقاً فتناول الأحادث السياسية والاجتماعية، في مصر والشرق والعالم الإسلامي، فجرى شعره على كل لسان. وكانت حياته كلها «للشعر» يستوحيه من المشاهدات ومن الحوادث. اتسعت ثروته، وعاش مترفاً، في نعمة واسعة، ودعة تتخللها ليال «نواسية» وسمى منزله «كرمة ابن هاني» وبستاناً له «عش البلبل» وكان يغشى في أكثر العشيات بالقاهرة مجالس من يأنس بهم من أصدقا...

مكونات الموتور
لنستعرض مكونات موتور بسيط مكون من قطبين ويعمل بالتيار المستمر وهذا الموتور سوف نجد انه يحتوي على 6 أجزاء موضحة في الشكل أدناه وهذه القطع هي:
1. المحرك الدوراني rotor
2. الموصل commutator
3. الفرشاة Brushes
4. المحور Axle
5. المجال المغناطيسي field magnet
6. مزود التيار الكهربي المستمر DC power supply
فكرة عمل الموتور :
الجزء الخارجي للموتور
يتكون الجسم الخارجي للموتور من اسطوانة معدنية تخرج منها محور الدوران axle وغطاء بلاستيكي مثبت عليه سلكين للتوصيل مع البطارية. لو قمت بتوصيل السلكين بقطبي بطارية فإن محور الدوران سوف يدور طالما استمر مرور التيار الكهربي في السريان. وإذا قمت بعكس قطبي البطارية فإن محور الدوران سوف يدور في الاتجاه المعاكس.
الجزء الداخلي للموتور

Any animal can be dangerous at some point so it’s hard to determine the only one factor that would help us to define which animals are the most dangerous. I can consider even my own cat dangerous but in no way it can be compared to some beast like a bear. Today we’ll be speaking about mammals and in the next posts we’ll also research the most dangerous animals of other types as well as insects and will make a summary of the most dangerous animals in the world.
Animals can get angry when protecting their kids or territory or they can be hungry, or they they can be simply aggressive by nature. The bigger the animal is, the more dangerous it is and this combination with aggression is the factor what we’ll consider one of the main in the post today. Of course, we’re also taking into account the fatality statistics that sometimes as we’ll see does not depend on the the size of the animal at all.

Probably all of us have heard of the Lenin’s Mausoleum, a structure placed in the middle of the Red Square right to the Kremlin.
There is a Lenin’s body inside, conserved and set for display.
But it was not the same through all the Soviet Era. First it was designed as on the picture above.
But Soviet State at that time didn’t have probably enough resources to build it from red granite and decided to build it from wood.
So at first it was made of wood.
But then a few years later they decided to rebuild it according to the original project and started bringing big granite blocks to the Red Square.
So it was now rebuilt with stone and looked more stylish now.
But it still had no platform. That famous platform at which all the Soviet leaders meet Soviet Army parades.

امرؤ القيس بن حجر بن الحارث الكندي، من بني آكل المرار هو أشهر شعراء العرب على الإطلاق. يماني الأصل. مولده بنجد، أو بمخلاف السكاسك باليمن. اشتهر بلقبه، واختلف المؤرخون في اسمه، فقيل حندج وقيل مليكة وقيل عدي. وكان أبوه مالك أسد وغطفان، وأمه أخت المهلهل الشاعر، فلقنه المهلهل الشعر، فقاله وهو غلام، وجعل يشبب ويلهو ويعاشر صعاليك العرب، فبلغ ذلك أباه، فنهاه عن سيرته فلم ينته. فأبعده إلى «دمون» بحضرموت، موطن آبائه وعشيرته، وهو في نحو العشرين من عمره. فأقام زهاء خمس سنين، ثم جعل يتنقل مع أصحابه في أحياء العرب، يشرب ويطرب ويغزو ويلهو، إلى أن ثار بنو أسد على أبيه وقتلوه، فبلغ ذلك امرؤ القيس وهو جالس للشراب فقال: رحم الله أبي ضيعني صغيراً وحملني دمه كبيراً، لا صحو اليوم ولا سكر غداً. اليوم خمر وغداً أمر، ونهض من غده فلم يزل حتى يفي ثأر أبيه من بني أسد، وقال في ذلك شعراً كثيراً. وكانت حكومة فارس ساخطة على بني آكل المرار (آباء امرؤ القيس) فأوعزت إلى المنذر (ملك العراق) بطلب امرؤ القيس، فطلبه، فابتعد، وتفرق عنه أنصاره؛ فطاف قبائل العرب حتى انتهى إلى السموأل، فأجاره. فمكث عنده مدة. ثم رأى أن يستعين ب...

دخلت أشعة الليزر في العديد من المنتجات التكنولوجية فتجدها عنصر أساسي في أجهزة تشغيل الأقراص المدمجة أو في آلات طبيب الأسنان أو في معدات قطع ولحام الحديد أو في أدوات القياس وغيرها من المجالات. كل تلك الأجهزة تستخدم الليزر ولكن ما هو الليزر وما الذي يجعل الليزر مميز عن غيره من المصادر الضوئية. في هذه المقالة سوف نقوم بشرح كل ما يتعلق بالليزر بشكل مبسط وواضح.
جاءت تسمية كلمة ليزر LASER من الأحرف الأولي لفكرة عمل الليزر والمتمثلة في الجملة التالية :
Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation
وتعني تكبير الضوء Light Amplification بواسطة الانبعاث الاستحثاثي Stimulated Emission للإشعاع الكهرومغناطيسي Radiation. وقد تنبأ بوجود الليزر العالم البرت اينشتاين في 1917 حيث وضع الأساس النظري لعملية الانبعاث الاستحثاثي stimulated emission وتم تصميم أول جهاز ليزر في 1960 بواسطة العالم ميمان T.H. Maiman باستخدام بلورة الياقوت ويعرف بليزر الياقوت Ruby laser.

مثلث برمودا هو لغز من ألغاز الطبيعة احتار الناس في حله منذ مئات السنين،ولا يزال حتى الآن رغم الأفتراضات الكثيرة،وهو أحد غرائب الطبيعة الذي تتحدث عنه الصحف والمجلات و التلفزيون من وقت الى آخر وتحيطه بهالة من الدهشة والغموض، هذا المثلث هو ذلك الجزء الغامض من المحيط الأطلسي الذي يبتلع بداخله آلاف السفن و الطائرات دون أن تترك أي أثر، ولم يستطع أحد حتى الآن أن، يفسر بشكل مؤكد سر هذا الإختفاء الغريب.
الحديث عن ( مثلث برمودا ) مثل الحديث عن الحكايات الخرافية والأساطير الإغريقية والقصص الخالية ، ولكن يبقى الفارق هنا هو أن مثلث برمودا حقيقة واقعية لمسناها في عصرنا هذا وقرأنا عنها في الصحف والمجلات العربية والعالمية ، ويذهب بنا القول بأن مثلث برمودا يعتبر التحدي الأعظم الذي يواجه إنسان هذا القرن والقرون القادمة

The aim of this post is not to list in some definite order which rivers are the dirtiest, but rather bring to the attention of society the problems of almost all the rivers all over the world nowadays. That’s a warning and a red light stop signal. Each of us should care about the nature, or our grand children will know of the rivers, lakes and seas from the pictures only.
The river close to my city is not in this list but it’s been prohibited to swim there for about 1o years now. Sewage, garbage, waste from factories, fertilizers are the common reasons of water pollution everywhere on Earth. And if the city is a big one, the rates can be decreased tremendously, especially in the third word countries.
Looking at the river and if there’s no garbage close to you, it’s hard to determine whether the river is contaminated. The rivers on the photos below may look “fine” but the facts speak for themselves. This is horrifying and this should be stopped.

عنترة العبسي وهو عنترة بن شداد من أشهر فرسان العرب في الجاهلية، ومن شعراء الطبقة الأولى. من أهل نجد. أمه حبشية اسمها زبيبة، سرى إليه السواد منها. وكان من أحسن العرب شيمة ومن أعزهم نفساً، يوصف بالحلم على شدة بطشه، وفي شعره رقة وعذوبة. وكان مغرماً بابنة عمه «عبلة» فقل أن تخلو له قصيدة من ذكرها. اجتمع في شبابه بامرؤ القيس الشاعر، وشهد حرب داحس والغبراء، وعاش طويلاً، وقتله الأسد الرهيص أو جبار ابن عمرو الطائي. ينسب إليه «ديوان شعر ط» أكثر ما فيه مصنوع. و«قصة عنترة ط» خيالية يعدها الإفرنج من بدائع آداب العرب، وقد ترجموها إلى الألمانية والفرنسية، ولم يعرف واضعها....

كيف يعمل الصاروخ متعدد المراحل. يحمل الصاروخ ذو المرحلتين دافعًا ومحركًا صاروخيًا واحدًا أو أكثر في كل مرحلة. المرحلة الأولى تطلق الصاروخ، وبعد حرق الدافع تسقط بعيدًا عن الصاروخ. المرحلة الثانية تبدأ وتحمل الرؤوس المحملة إلى المدار الأرضي أو حتى أبعد من ذلك إلى الفضاء. قانون الحركة الأساسي الذي اكتشفه العالم البريطاني السير إسحق نيوتن في القرن السابع عشر الميلادي يصف كيف يعمل الصاروخ. هذا القانون ينص على أن لكل فعل رد فعل مساوٍ له في المقدار ومضادٍّ له في الاتجاه. انظر: الحركة. يشرح قانون نيوتن كيف يؤدي تدفق الهواء من بالون صغير إلى دفع البالون للطيران. ويعمل أقوى الصواريخ بنفس الطريقة.يحرق الصاروخ وقودًا خاصًا في غرفة احتراق فينتج غاز يتمدد بسرعة. ويضغط هذا الغاز داخل الصاروخ بالتساوي في كل الاتجاهات. وضغط هذا الغاز على أحد جوانب الصاروخ يساوي ضغط الغاز على الجانب المقابل. ويخرج الغاز من مؤخرة الصاروخ من خلال فوهة. ولا يعادل هذا الغاز المعدم ضغط الغاز على مقدمة الصاروخ. وهذا الضغط غير المتساوي هو الذي يدفع الصاروخ للأمام.

There’s something about a well-drawn portrait that can be irresistible. They capture a single moment, giving us a (albeit artificial and somewhat “manufactured”) look into someone’s soul — maybe a celebrity we’ll never see in person, someone who’s passed, or just an average Joe. It's not pretty to look at, but Namibia's plant Welwitschia Mirabilis can truly claim to be one of a kind. There really is nothing like it.

Welwitschia plant consists of only two leaves and a sturdy stem with roots. That's all! Two leaves continue to grow until they resemble the shaggy mane of some sci-fi alien. The stem thickens, rather than gains in height , and can grow to be almost 2 meters high and 8 meters wide. Their estimated lifespan is 400 to 1500 years.

شاعر عالي الطبقة، من أهل نجد. له «ديوان شعر ط» كان ممن اشتهر في الجاهلية. ولما ظهر الإسلام هجا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأقام يشبب بنساء المسلمين، فهدر النبي دمه، فجاءه «كعب» مستأمناً، وقد أسلم، وأنشده لاميته المشهورة التي مطلعها:
«بانت سعاد فقلبي اليوم متبول»
فعفا عنه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وخلع عليه بردته. وهو من أعرق الناس في الشعر: أبوه زهير بن أبي سلمى، وأخوه بجير، وابنه عقبة وحفيده العوام، كلهم شعراء. وقد كثر محمسوا لاميته ومشطروها ومعارضوها وشراحها، وترجمت إلى الإيطالية. وعني بها المستشرق رينيه باسيه فنشرها مترجمة إلى الفرنسية، ومشروحة شرحاً جيداً، صدّرها بترجمة كعب. وروي أن البردة النبوية بيعت في أيام المنصور الخليفة العباسي بأربعين ألف درهم، وبقيت في خزائن بني العباس إلى أن وصل المغول....

جهاز الجوال هو جهاز يشبه في عمله جهاز الراديو، ولكن راديو بدرجة عالية من الدقة والتعقيد. أخترع التلفون العادي بواسطة العالم الكسندر جراهام بل Alexander Graham Bell في 1876، والاتصالات اللاسلكية تطورت نتيجة لاختراع وتطور أجهزة الراديو الذي اخترع بواسطة العالم نيكولاي تسلا Nikolai Tesla في 1894. ومن الجدير بالذكر أنه من الطبيعي أن تتحد وتندمج فكرة الهاتف والراديو معا.
هذا بالنسبة لتلفونات الراديو، أما في نظام تلفون الجوال فإن المدينة تقسم إلى خلايا صغيرة cells وفي كل خلية يوجد محطة إرسال (أنتينا)، وبهذه الطريقة يمكن إعادة استخدام نفس التردد على كل المدينة وبالتالي فإن الملايين من الأفراد يمكنهم استخدام الجوال في نفس الوقت
تقسيم المدينة إلى خلايا Cells أدى إلى تسمية الجوالات بالانجليزية Cell Phone أي الجوال الخلوي وهذا هو الأساس في التسمية، أما كلمة المحمول والجوال فهي دلالات على قابلية التحدث من أي مكان في العالم.

Similar in appearance to the IBM 5100 from five years earlier in 1975, the Hewlett-Packard HP-85 is an all-in-one portable computer system with a built-in keyboard, 5" screen, thermal printer, tape storage unit, and the BASIC programming language.

In a recent survey leading up to the release of the 30th anniversary issue of PDN, readers voted Josef Koudelka’s Invasion 68: Prague (Aperture, 2008) one of the most influential books of the decade. The book (which has been published in in ten countries, most recently in Russia) gathers more than 250 of the photographs Koudelka took in August 1968 during the Prague Spring, when Warsaw Pact tanks invaded Prague and Soviet soldiers clashed with citizens and protesters. Koudelka had just returned from Romania where he was working on his long-term project photographing gypsies when the invasion began. His photographs of the occupation, the first reportage work he had done, were smuggled out of the country and distributed by Magnum Photos. Some of the work was published with credit to an unknown Czech photographer, and Koudelka was given a Robert Capa Award anonymously.

بشار بن برد من أشعر المولدين على الإطلاق. أصله من طخارستان (غربي نهر جيحون) ونسبته إلى امرأة (عقيلية) قيل إنها أعتقته من الرق. وكان ضريراً. نشأ في البصرة وقدم بغداد. وأدرك الدولتين الأموية والعباسية. وشعره كثير متفرق من الطبقة الأولى، جمع بعضه في «ديوان شعر ط» 3 أجزاء منه. قال الجاحظ «كان شاعراً راجزاً، سجاعاً خطيباً، صاحب منثور ومزدوج، وله رسائل معروفة». واتهم بالزندقة فمات ضرباً بالسياط، ودفن بالبصرة. وكانت عادته، إذا أراد أن ينشد أو يتكلم، أن يتفل عن يمينه وشماله ويصفق بإحدى يديه على الأخرى ثم يقول....

يعتبر التلفزيون واحد من أهم القوى المؤثرة في العصر الحالي حيث يمكنك من خلاله معرفة الأخبار السياسية والأوضاع الاقتصادية وأخبار الرياضة والطقس أو قد تستخدمه للتسلية ومشاهدة البرامج الترفيهية فقد وجد انه في المتوسط يقضي الناس ما بين ساعتين إلى خمس في مشاهدة التلفزيون كل يوم. هل فكرت يوما في التكنولوجيا التي أنتجت مثل هذا الجهاز وكيف يمكن لمئات من القنوات أن تصل لبيتك تحمل أحداثا كاملة الحركة والصوت وغالبا مجانا؟ ما هي الإشارة التي تبثها محطات الإرسال وكيف يستقبلها جهازك و يفك شفرتها ليحولها إلى صورة متحركة؟ إن كنت تساءلت يوما حول كل هذا أو حتى حول شاشة كمبيوترك قد تجد هنا تفسيرا.
